About Teen Yoga
What is Teen Yoga?
Teen Yoga is a class that is specifically designed to introduce children, over the age of 10 years, to the benefits of Yoga & Meditation whilst in a safe and non-judgemental environment. Fun is one of the main focuses of the class. We will be exploring the yoga poses and breathing techniques using flows, games and group work.
What are the benefits of Teen Yoga?
The young individuals participating in this class will be unlocking a multitude of benefits. The main focus of this class is to provide each individual with a range of skills that promote positive physical and mental wellbeing.
Physically, each individuals strength, awareness of the body, flexibility and coordination will improve. Additionally, each participant will gain skills that enables them to increase their focus and concentration. Lastly, we will look at different relaxation techniques. Yodanga Arts uses these techniques specifically during stressful periods such as revision and exam periods at school.
Who is Teen Yoga for?
Yodanga Arts are aiming this class at children aged 10 years and above. Most of all, it is the perfect class for young people who are sitting exams at school or managing stress and/or anxiety on a regular basis. You do not need any previous experience in Yoga to attend this class.
