Our Intermediate Aerial Yoga sessions are for individuals who have been attending regular Beginners/Improvers classes and can confidently execute all of the Beginners Aerial Yoga Poses.
The Intermediate Aerial Yoga classes feature Aerial Yoga flows that feature all of the moves learnt in our Beginners/Improvers classes.
However, these flows are taught at a faster pace and are married with new intermediate transitions & poses too.
In order to join our Intermediate Aerial Yoga classes you will need to be able to execute the following poses with confidence & control.
- Basic Inversion
- Goddess Seat
- Wrapped Inversion
- Seated Cocoon
- Cobblers Inversion
Benefits of Aerial Yoga
Aerial Yoga combines your favourite Yoga poses with the added support of a Yoga Hammock. Enjoy the ability to stretch deeper work harder and tip upside down (if you fancy). The focus of our classes changes every week. We build strength, increase flexibility, coordination and learn some tricks along the way. This class includes inversions. Inversions are great and offer a number of health benefits but some health conditions can make inversions unsafe. If you have any of the following conditions, please inform your teacher and they will give you some alternative poses that will not put you in harms way.

- Heart disease/ stroke
- Recent surgery
- Other conditions – Please consult your doctor
